Tarkett launches Stellar: a breakthrough in click flooring
Stellar: the sustainable click floor of the future
With Stellar, Tarkett is setting a new benchmark in click flooring. The brand comprises two collections: StellarCraft, offering 24 different wood-effect designs, and StellarElements, featuring 12 unique ceramic and stone patterns. The combination of innovative 3DTex digital printing technology and a digitally printed textured finish creates an incredibly realistic surface that is virtually indistinguishable from real wood or ceramic. This positions Tarkett as a true industry pioneer. The material is also more durable and features tactile grain patterns, with customizable depth. With the launch of Stellar, Tarkett delivers a floor that combines the best of both worlds: the look and feel of natural materials with the benefits of a robust, scratch- and water-resistant click system. In short: it’s a product that goes beyond reality.
Modern comfort with an artisanal look
Despite its state-of-the-art production, Stellar still exudes nature. The wooden and ceramic top layers are based on images of genuine materials. Moreover, the wood is treated using artisanal techniques before being photographed and printed onto a mineral-core board. As a result, each printed design is unique, with patterns that align perfectly. This approach creates a truly seamless and natural appearance, even over large surfaces.
Production is equally sustainable. Manufactured in Europe, the collection is made from 70% minerals and 28% recycled materials.
Recyclable after use
And at the end of its life, the flooring is fully recyclable through Tarkett’s ReStart® recycling program. This initiative collects and repurposes used flooring, aimed to raise the share of reclaimed materials in production to 30% by 2030.
Stellar will be available from September. In Belgium and Luxembourg, it will be sold through 24 selected retailers, where specially designed displays and interactive experience tables will allow customers to explore the range first-hand in store.
