With light + motion, the design technology brand prado is bringing the first recessed spotlight with an invisible motion sensor onto the market. The Belgian company, founded by Thibault Renson, hence delivers a first in the international design world. By combining spotlight and sensor, light + motion allows architects to create the ultimate form of calm on the ceiling. In addition, the minimalist design consists of fewer materials, which in turn represents added value for the installer. Especially nice: prado's innovation is modular and circular. The parts can be replaced separately and recycled.
Light + motion by prado is a worldwide first. This new, autonomous luminaire is equipped with an integrated, invisible PIR sensor and thus perfectly fulfils the mission of the Belgian design technology company: to create smart combinations that bring calm to the ceiling and by extension also to the entire house thanks to their well thought-out simplicity in terms of technology and design.
The minimalist and modular innovation is manufactured in aluminium as standard, but is also available in other versions and finishes such as brass. By combining the spotlight and sensor, prado's latest product hence consists of less material and allows for its components to be replaced separately.
light + ventilation
Two years ago, prado launched light + ventilation, the first innovative and aesthetic solution that conceals ventilation in architectural lighting, thus bringing calm to the ceiling. It united the world of light and ventilation and created a new product category. With the launch of light + motion, the brand is continuing in the same vein. prado is distancing itself from the 'smarthome movement' and is going back to the essence of 'natural living' with the ultimate simplicity in design and use. In addition, the Belgian design-technology company is strongly focusing on the circularity of its products.
